No, Mame is target at beginners and experts. Predefined templates, drag and drop and live editing make it easy to create professional websites even with zero coding experience. 

Sure, knowledge of HTML, CSS and Web makes things easier and allows you to utilize Mame even better. But Mame is actually a great way to learn HTML, while building websites. Mame is creating W3C compliant and clean code.

No! Mame is free and is always going to be free! There's only two features that require premium: Deployment to Amazon Web Services and Digital Ocean directly from the builder. But you can always do this manually, it's just a convenience feature. If you host your site on our servers, there's a limit of three sites with 200 MB Quota each for free users. That's it.. How do we plan to earn money for the service? Mostly through the store, we take a small commission for every website, page or section template sold there.

Sites are a stored and downloaded as compliant HTML, CSS and JavaScript. With Mame there is no vendor lock-in. You can deploy your website to any hosting company or host your sites for free on mame.app. (Up to 200 MB Quota per site with a free account)

None, generated sites are only HTML, CSS and JavaScript (and folders). Any hosting provider should be suitable.

Anywhere, but you can also publish your website for free (up to 200 MB Quota) to our servers. As a premium user you can also deploy your site directly to Amazon Webservices (AWS) and Digital Ocean. You can always download the site and upload it yourself to any web hosting.

Currently we offer Stripe for payment (support most cards).

With the free version you may host up to three websites (with 200 MB Quota each), with the premium versions you can host more. The only other premium feature so far is the one click upload to Amazon Web Services (S3) and Digital Ocean.

Mame is free, no reason for a trial. Just head to builder.mame.app and start creating your first website.

Mame is currently available in English and German. If you want to contribute your own language just drop us a line to translations@mame.app - We plan on setting up an online translation tool soon (TM).

In the section properties, choose Advanced -> Positioning and set it to sticky. You also need to add a top value (like 60px). That's it now your heading menu should float when you scroll the page (make sure it's not hidden by the builder top menu)

There are multiple answers to that, depending where you want to host it.

Yes, Mame is a website builder which allows you to download your website and upload it to any hosting company or web-server. Mame offers hosting too, but that's only an option and yes you can add custom domains there too. (Including free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates and a lot of other benefits, like One Click Updating from the Builder).

Absolutely, you can add CSS + JavaScript for your whole website or even per single page.
